Who are we and what do we do...
Corporate America is great... for someone else. I kind of pride myself on the fact that I can't remember the last time I wore a tie, and I have more slivers in my hands on any given day than most people have fillings in their teeth.
I like hard work, and I like the satisfaction of knowing that the couch I just built could probably get dropped off a balcony and it wouldn't hurt it. (Not that I reccommend that to test the quality) Or that the dressers I make don't fall apart in six months or six years for that matter.
Why? Because I make furniture the way it used to be made. Mortise and Tenon construction fortified with the strongest adhesives in the world and top-dollar fasteners when needed. Then, when I'm finished making it stronger than you would believe without seeing it firsthand, I make it beautiful.
I can put any kind of finish imagineable on a piece of furniture. From a glass-like epoxy finish that might as well be bulletproof, to a soft, hand-rubbed wax that leaves a beautiful lustre and brings out the quality of the wood.
If you can imagine it, we can probably make it.
